General Information
 
Charlatanism is a PC/ Twitch based multiplayer game where the viewers of the game are competing with the streamer. The chat puts in directional inputs and collectively control the giant monster that is destroying the city on the island. The streamer is collecting energy and building turrets other buildings that are used to attack the monster.
 
I was the Usability lead for this project, and I was responsible to for testing the game and collecting feedback to inform future builds of the game.

Usability Responsibility
  • Ran over ten playtest that streamed through Twitch.

  • Consolidated feedback from playtest to help designers and engineers refine the visual feedback a viewer of the stream would feel from participating in the game.

  • Conducted playtests and wrote playtest reports that revealed that players were unsure if their inputs to the twitch chats were affecting the gameplay.
